- In various way, like volunteering for example if there is a hurricane in Tampa Bay area and if they need a volunteer.
I had the opportunity to volunteer for needy under the guidance of the city just after 9/11 in NYC.
In addition I grew up in Kathmandu and Highland of Nepal near Mt. Everest, I went to school in India. I can share a knowledge of of Buddha's philosophy, Hinduism, and some Christianity usual. Ironically, I consider myself a spirited man with a blend of Buddhsm, Hinduism and Christianity.

- Networking, particularly, I am in between the jobs, I am open to many opportunity and hoping someone will advise me in the right direction.

I just joined here on Link Florida, and ran across your page. Didn't see any recent posts, so was wondering if you have found a job yet?
My brother is a project manager, does contract jobs with various companies. He's been in Omaha, Nebraska the past few years, since he came back from Mauratius Island (probably not spelled right). His present job is basically done. He's been trying to find something in New Jersey--his wife is from Mauratius--basically an Indian culture. They have a large Indian population up there, and he feels she would be more comfortable there.
I just mention this--if you have not found a job yet, you might want to look in New Jersey. Many, many tech jobs up there, and a very wide range of ethnic groups.

Additionally, I am originally from Nepal but US Permanent residence living in the US for about 20 years. The American Manager will assign me to interview me to an Indian or Chinese Origin IT young professiona, then they will kick me right away. They like to hire their own people out of their own ethnicity or networking.
I have been working in software IT and Financial Analysis fields for than 15 years and have had couple of masters degrees from this country and an engineer from abroad. It has become difficult in networking.
